Joshua VP and his Assistant, Brian Grabski, shot this time-lapse style video in one week on Lake Powell near Utah/Arizona. Aside from the great choice in music, M83 and Misanthrop, this video has some stunning visuals of the open skies out in Utah/Arizona. What grabbed me the most and made me think, “Trendy Slave” was the ability to contrast the stark visuals of the open country and the audio clips in the beginning of newscasters, phone calls, and other technological bits and beeps. Along with Gene Wilder’s quote from Arthur O’Shaughnessy’s “Music and Moonlight” : We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams”.
